THC The Bible Series’ Darwin Shaw

The best part of my job is meeting great people from all walks of life.   British Actor Darwin Shaw stars on the The History Channel’s critically acclaimed series The Bible, the No. 1 show on all of Sunday night television with 10.9 million viewers.  There couldn’t be a cooler, nicer or more interesting person on the Planet.    I love that he began a career as a Doctor and decided one day, to hang up the scrubs to follow his passion for acting.  You may recognize him from movies Casino Royale, Prince of Persia, and John Carter.  He’s bringing his magic to the big screen, sharp as a tack.

I had the pleasure of working with him on a spec editorial a few months back , on a hot LA afternoon (along with a team of superheros listed below)..

WIRED Magazine Dec 2011

There’s nothing more inspiring than working along side one of the best photographers in the world and a visionary entrepreneur who’s changing the way that we shop online. I had the pleasure working with NY photographer Nigel Parry, stylist Alvin Stillwell, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos for the cover of WIRED Magazine. The feature coincides with the launch of Amazon’s new Kindle Fire.

Papercut Magazine | Jaime Alexander of THOR

The first anniversary issue of Papercut Magazine is finally out and features actress Jaimie Alexander of the film‘THOR‘.  I’m so happy to have been a part of this amazing team!  Shot on location in West Hollywood, the superstar lineup was: Photographer Alvin Nguyen, stylist Alvin Stillwell (Celestine Agency), Jaimie Alexander (Kyle XY) of ‘THOR’, the gals at Papercut magazine, hairstylist Christi Cagle (Krop Creative), and  makeup by me (Ajentse).   I had the opportunity to test out some new products from NARS, and fell in love with a line of hair products by Rene Furterer that Christi used throughout the day.

 

Some new favorite NARS products in rotation:  Illuminator in Copacobana, Blush in Sex Appeal, Eyeshadow in Fuji, Trio Eyeshadow in Calanique, Lipstick in Tzigane, and Pore Refining Primer.  Love!!
