bumble and bumble

Summertime and the livin’ is easy!   In late July, I spent a sunny afternoon working with Howard McLaren, VP and creative genius behind Bumble and Bumble .  I died and went to heaven!  The man is a visionary.  We started hair and makeup at the Hotel 1000 downtown, then made our way over to a park near Elliot Ave.  Howard’s inspiration for the shoot was 1950’s beachside in the UK. Strong black eyeliner, darker brows, fresh skin..  Of course I dream about seeing the photos on a billboard next time I fly to NY, but most likely it was a spec shoot for a Bb Surf campaign that will be shot in the UK this year.
